Enjoy the enchanting beauty of Deutzia 'Yuki Cherry Blossom,' featuring delicate pink flowers that bloom in spring. The green foliage transforms into rich burgundy-purple fall foliage...beautiful! |
Deutzia 'Yuki Cherry Blossom' is a compact, deciduous shrub with a delicate, dwarf habit and stunning spring flowers. This cultivar of the Deutzia genus originates from Japan and grows to a petite 12-18 inches tall and wide. In mid to late spring, the shrub becomes covered in an abundance of small, pink-blushed white blooms that resemble miniature cherry blossoms. The showy flower clusters are borne along the arching branches, giving the shrub a profuse, cascading appearance. After the spring display, the green foliage takes on reddish-purple hues in autumn for additional seasonal interest. 'Yuki Cherry Blossom' is prized for its compact, mounding habit that makes it well-suited for use as a low border, edging plant, or groundcover in mixed beds and containers. Its diminutive size and tolerance for partial shade also allow it to be incorporated into small garden spaces and foundation plantings where larger shrubs may not fit. With its delicate spring blooms and tidy, controlled growth, Deutzia 'Yuki Cherry Blossom' is a delightful addition to Asian-inspired and cottage-style landscapes. Fun Fact: Deutzia and hydrangeas are botanically related (i.e., by the number and arrangement of their flower parts) - they're basically cousins!
