Experience the early beauty of Quick Fire® Hydrangea, blooming a month ahead of other panicle varieties with stunning pure white flowers that transition to dark rosy-pink in fall. |
The Quick Fire Hydrangea is known for its exceptionally early and long-lasting blooming period. Unlike many other hydrangeas that flower in mid-to-late summer, the Quick Fire can begin producing its conical flower panicles as early as late spring. The blooms open up white, then gradually transition through shades of pink and finally deep red or burgundy as they mature. This cultivar has a compact, upright growth habit, reaching around 6-8 feet tall and wide at maturity. The sturdy, burgundy-tinted stems hold the large, showy flower clusters well, making them great for cutting. The dark green foliage provides a nice contrast to the colorful blooms. Quick Fire is a reliable rebloomer, often producing a second flush of flowers later in the season. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Minimal pruning is required to maintain its tidy, symmetrical shape. Gardeners appreciate Quick Fire's early, extended flowering season and multicolored blooms that put on an eye-catching display from spring through fall. It makes an excellent specimen plant, hedge, or mass planting in landscapes.
